Tour starts at 8 a.m. with the walk from the plateau of Nakovana, historic site since the Ancient Times. We visit the Nakovana cave(6.000 BC) in which is the Illyrian shrine from the Hellenistic period. The cave remained intact for more than 2000 years, and today represents one of the most famous archaeological sites in Europe.
In frequent breaks for photographing our staff will guide you through the history of this region that people inhabit through thousands of years.
After the visit to the cave we walk to picturesque village of Upper Nakovana and then descent by old Austro-Hungarian road to village Viganj where the traditional brunch is waiting for us in the local tavern.
Take along something to drink, hat, sunscreen and of course camera.
